Elastic couplings

The elastic coupling consists of two toothed crowns (male and female) that are joined with each other. Elastic rubber element with special high-strength compound working under compression are fitted on the female half-coupling. The couplings are torsionally elastic. They can work in both directions of rotation as well as by reversible operation and also absorb shocks from uneven and alternating loads. SAPITFLEX couplings ensure compensation of any small alignment errors between the driving and driven machine resulting, for example, from possible installation errors, effects of thermal expansion, elasticity of supporting structures, or minor foundation settlements.

Applications: pumps, blowers, alternators, compressors, low and high viscosity mixers, hammer mills.
